Art Workshop: Celebrating America's 250th • Register • View Cart •

In this arts & crafts workshop students will create a time capsule that includes drawings and a handmade paper version of the Massachusetts state flower: the Mayflower. These items will represent modern-day America, on its 250th anniversary. Students will also write a letter to their future self about what their life is like today. Students will embellish the outside of their time capsule, fill it with all of their creations and then bring it home to bury (or simply store it) to be opened on a future anniversary, perhaps the 300th anniversary!
