CODMAN SWIM TEAM
The Codman Swim Team participates in the Minuteman Swim League. Our team competes locally in Concord, Sudbury and Burlington. Participants practice at the Codman pool during the weekday mornings (see times below) and there are five regular meets during the season with championships held at the end. Away meets are usually held weekday evenings and home meets are held on Saturday mornings. In order to qualify for championships in 2026 your child(ren) must participate in 3 of the 5 regular home meets. This will also determine swim team eligibility for the next swim season.
Season: June 22 - August 1, 2026
Ages: 5 - 18 (Must be 5 years old by July 1, 2026)
Swim Requirement: Children must be able to swim 25 yards (half the length of the pool).
Volunteers
The Codman Swim Team program depends heavily on parents to volunteer for various tasks and responsibilities throughout the season. Please be sure you can commit to helping out
REGISTRATION
Registration will be open to 2025 members on March 11.
New member registration will open on March 19.
Participants interested in the MEMBERSHIP DISCOUNT must purchase a Codman Pool Membership prior to registering for swim lessons.
Non-Member Residents interested in swim team should choose the Session(s) and register for the Resident Swim Team - Codman Pool Non-Members option.

Swim Team Registration: Thursday, May7
Swim Team Suit & Cap Order: Tuesday, May 11
Swim Team Apparel Order: Tuesday, May 11
No registration or swim gear/apparel can be purchased after the deadline.
SWIMMER EVALUATION NIGHT
Wednesday, June 17, 6:00 - 7:00 pm, Codman Pool
Mandatory
- You must be registered for the Swim Team prior to attending the Swimmer Evaluation Night.
- All first time swimmers must attend the Swimmer Evaluation Night.
The Assistant Parks and Recreation Director and Swim Team Coach will give a brief overview of the program and then swimmer evaluations will take place with the WSIs (Water Safety Instructors). Please bring a swimsuit and towel for your child. Parents will have the opportunity to ask questions and should sign up/volunteer for the various tasks required at swim meets.
If your child does not meet the required qualifications of swimming 25 yards, you will receive a full refund.
PRACTICE INFORMATION
Swim team practice takes place Monday - Friday at the times listed below. Attend your preferred day(s) and time slot.
Monday - Friday, 7:00 - 7:45 am, 7:50 - 8:35 am, 8:40 - 9:25 am
MEETS AND CHAMPIONSHIP
The season consists of 4 meets and the Championship meet. Away meets are usually held weekday evenings and home meets are held on Saturday mornings. 2026 schedule to be determined.
