We will try  cartwheels, handstands, forward & backward rolls and round offs. Balance beam, bars and vaulting, bridges and splits will be introduced, along with fun listening games! Parks and Rec Staff will meet children right after school and walk them to class. Please let their teacher know they are attending a Parks and Recreation program. No socks or shoes, long hair must be pulled back. Gymnastics 2A continuation of gymnastics skills based on ability. Don’t worry if this is your first try at gymnastics. The goal here is to feel good about yourself in a no pressure environment. We will try cartwheels, handstands, forward & backward rolls and round offs. Chess Wizards is a premier chess education company providing fun, informative and challenging chess lessons to students. Chess Wizards teaches children many important life concepts, such as learning the ability to win graciously and accept defeat with dignity and sportsmanship. Students will be divided into groups according to their chess experience. By the end of this session, each student will have had the opportunity to participate in a mini-chess tournament.

Are you interested in helping younger children learn gymnastics? This program is designed for students in Grades 3 through 6 who want to assist with preschool gymnastics classes. Helpers will work under the guidance of Jennifer and Rebecca McGrath. As a student helper, you will assist with setting up equipment, demonstrating basic skills, and supporting young gymnasts as they learn. Children must be able to walk independently. Come join us for toddler fun! Crawl through tunnels, jump like a frog and swing like a monkey. Learn to walk on the balance beam and roll forward & backward. Parachute, balls, bubbles and music make this a magical class! Be prepared to meet new friends and have tons of fun! Child must be able to walk independently. Parent/guardian participation is required.

All by myself - I’m a big kid now! Explore all the basic gymnastics equipment in a fun safe environment. Bars, beam, floor and vaulting. 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM    Animation Studio Workshop - Animation Studio Workshop
Students will create fantastic movies with stop motion animation using LEGO® bricks. They will work in teams under guided instruction to make a digital movie using stop motion techniques. Teams will go through the entire movie making process, from plot and character planning to editing; their video will be uploaded to Snapology’s YouTube channel, so they can show friends and family their very own video! Students will gain hands-on experience with movie-making software oniPads, learning to create, edit, and add sounds and music while becoming comfortable navigating menus and applications. They will also develop original stories and characters through guided instruction in story and character development, skills that not only enhance their films but also strengthen their storytelling abilities in the classroom. Just like professional filmmakers, students practice teamwork by collaborating on group planning, sharing ideas, and respecting their partners’contributions to bring their creative visions to life.
 
4:15 PM - 5:15 PM    RoboPets - RoboPets
In this robotics program, students will build simple, animal-inspired machines that are controlled by icon based program codes. Students will be taught some fundamental engineering and programming concepts as they build goofy animals and design perfect habitats to protect their new robotic friends. While coding, students will also learn and be able to make their favorite robotic pets make silly and funny noises! In this series of classes, students will build various robotic animals such as: RoboPup, Cat, Frog, Lion, and Giraffe!

Parent & Me is a caregiver-toddler pre-soccer, music and movement program designed for toddlers between 12 and 24 months. Experienced early childhood instructors, along with our puppet friends Mimi and Pepe, take caregivers and toddlers through a world of exciting physical activity. Individualized attention, positive reinforcement and engaging original music help develop pre-soccer skills that have toddlers balancing, running, kicking and playing - all while having a blast!

Through FUN skills and drills, small-sided games, and age-appropriate activities, our youngest athletes will learn both individual and team skills while gaining confidence and having fun! Be Ahead Of The Game coaches specialize in Pre-K sports and have many years of coaching experience. BAOTG understands the development of the youngest athletes and always takes time to play fun warm-up games and make sure all feel welcome!

Be Ahead of the Game basketball clinics will focus on the fundamentals of basketball through skills sessions, station work and competition. We will emphasize shooting, ball handling and individual offensive and defensive skills. The clinics will stress the importance of fundamentals, smart decision-making and hard work while having fun along the way. Players may be divided by age and skill level to ensure that each individual has a meaningful experience. Children should wear sneakers, comfortable clothing and bring their own water bottles.

This class is for students who already know the fundamentals and want to develop stronger skills. It is recommended that you have played regularly for at least several months. Students will create fantastic movies with stop motion animation using LEGO® bricks. They will work in teams under guided instruction to make a digital movie using stop motion techniques. Teams will go through the entire movie making process, from plot and character planning to editing; their video will be uploaded to Snapology’s YouTube channel, so they can show friends and family their very own video! Students will gain hands-on experience with movie-making software oniPads, learning to create, edit, and add sounds and music while becoming comfortable navigating menus and applications. They will also develop original stories and characters through guided instruction in story and character development, skills that not only enhance their films but also strengthen their storytelling abilities in the classroom. 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM    Animation Studio Workshop - Animation Studio Workshop
Students will create fantastic movies with stop motion animation using LEGO® bricks. They will work in teams under guided instruction to make a digital movie using stop motion techniques. Teams will go through the entire movie making process, from plot and character planning to editing; their video will be uploaded to Snapology’s YouTube channel, so they can show friends and family their very own video! Students will gain hands-on experience with movie-making software oniPads, learning to create, edit, and add sounds and music while becoming comfortable navigating menus and applications. They will also develop original stories and characters through guided instruction in story and character development, skills that not only enhance their films but also strengthen their storytelling abilities in the classroom. Just like professional filmmakers, students practice teamwork by collaborating on group planning, sharing ideas, and respecting their partners’contributions to bring their creative visions to life.
 
4:15 PM - 5:15 PM    RoboPets - RoboPets
In this robotics program, students will build simple, animal-inspired machines that are controlled by icon based program codes. Students will be taught some fundamental engineering and programming concepts as they build goofy animals and design perfect habitats to protect their new robotic friends. While coding, students will also learn and be able to make their favorite robotic pets make silly and funny noises! In this series of classes, students will build various robotic animals such as: RoboPup, Cat, Frog, Lion, and Giraffe!

Join us for open Pickleball Sessions offered at three levels: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. Participants may register for one night at one level only. Resident registration opens Wednesday, December 10, and non-resident registration opens Tuesday, December 23.Please note that instruction is not provided during these sessions. Lana's Ultimate Fitness classes provide a comprehensive and well-rounded workout, for both men and women of all ages and levels of fitness, in a fun and casual atmosphere. Expect an exciting blend of strength training, cardiovascular conditioning and exercises to improve coordination, balance, posture and flexibility. This multidimensional plan is developed to safely maximize the benefits of exercise in a one hour class. 
 
3:30 PM - 4:15 PM    Intro to Basketball 2026 - Intro to Basketball
Through FUN skills and drills, small-sided games, and age-appropriate activities, our youngest athletes will learn both individual and team skills while gaining confidence and having fun! Be Ahead Of The Game coaches specialize in Pre-K sports and have many years of coaching experience. BAOTG understands the development of the youngest athletes and always takes time to play fun warm-up games and make sure all feel welcome!
 
4:30 PM - 5:30 PM    Basketball Clinic 2026 - Basketball Clinic Grades K-2
Be Ahead of the Game basketball clinics will focus on the fundamentals of basketball through skills sessions, station work and competition. We will emphasize shooting, ball handling and individual offensive and defensive skills. The clinics will stress the importance of fundamentals, smart decision-making and hard work while having fun along the way. Players may be divided by age and skill level to ensure that each individual has a meaningful experience. Children should wear sneakers, comfortable clothing and bring their own water bottles.
 
5:30 PM - 7:00 PM    MathSpark AMC 8 Class 2026 - AMC 8 Winter 2026
This course will help students build strong problem-solving skills to achieve a goal solidly above the national average. Through targeted practice and strategy sessions, students will gain confidence in tackling algebra, geometry, counting, and number theory problems - equipping them with the foundational skills needed to progress toward top-tier performance in future math competitions. This AMC 8 prep course delivers targeted small-group instruction through a proven AOPS-based curriculum enhanced with custom strategy guides. Students benefit from monthly proctored mock exams with time control and detailed solution walkthroughs and comprehensive Google Classroom support (including all teaching materials, weekly homework, assignments, and progress tracking) while live class attendance is encouraged, all study materials are available digitally for students who miss sessions, ensuring continuous progress. This class is for students who already know the fundamentals and want to develop stronger skills. It is recommended that you have played regularly for at least several months. We’ll focus on the first four shots of a rally, work on softening your game with dinks and drop shots, and practice moving from the baseline to the non-volley zone with confidence.These skills will help you improve your games.
