Chess Wizards teaches children many important life concepts, such as learning the ability to win graciously and accept defeat with dignity and sportsmanship. Students will be divided into groups according to their chess experience. By the end of this session, each student will have had the opportunity to participate in a mini-chess tournament.

Buildwave is a creative building program that feels like a video game! Over the course of 6 sessions students create with over 50 different building materials, including Lego®, PlusPlus®, and custom-made Buildwave materials. Each session of the program is a new “level” of the Buildwave game, with an audiovisual setup featuring animations and music that guide students through the different building waves. As your child creates with wave after wave of new objects, they build creative confidence, become better collaborators, and encounter design and engineering fundamentals in a unique and memorable context. Your imagination is the only limit. Imagine your child designing their own characters, worlds, and stories, then watching them come to life as videos, 3D animated models, and a published game. At Overture Games, students start with paper and pencil, then work with instructors to bring their ideas to life using AI in a guided, responsible way. This is our flagship intro program - a first step that blends video game design, movie making, and 3D animation into one hands-on experience. By the end, students will have built a portfolio of videos, 3D animated models, and a published video game they are proud to share. All equipment and supplies provided.

Each week, they'll dive into hands-on activities, such as engineering their own chips, making white chocolate from scratch, and creating marshmallow fluff. From understanding the chemistry of caramelization to experimenting with flavors and textures, this program offers a fun and educational journey into the world of culinary creativity. By the end of the course, students will have crafted a variety of snacks to share with family and friends, gaining valuable knowledge in food science and engineering.
