5:30 PM - 7:00 PM	MathSpark AMC 8 Class - AMC 8 Fall 2025 This course will help students build strong problem-solving skills to achieve a goal solidly above the national average. Through targeted practice and strategy sessions, students will gain confidence in tackling algebra, geometry, counting, and number theory problems - equipping them with the foundational skills needed to progress toward top-tier performance in future math competitions. This AMC 8 prep course delivers targeted small-group instruction through a proven AOPS-based curriculum enhanced with custom strategy guides. Students benefit from monthly proctored mock exams with time control and detailed solution walkthroughs and comprehensive Google Classroom support (including all teaching materials, weekly homework, assignments, and progress tracking) while live class attendance is encouraged, all study materials are available digitally for students who miss sessions, ensuring continuous progress. This structured approach builds both deep mathematical understanding and competition-specific test-taking skills. This class is for motivated 5th-8th graders ready for advanced math challenges. They will also complete projects using upcycled denim, learn about proportion while sculpting with clay, and experiment with various decorative techniques, using paint, paper and other embellishments. No class 10/13.

3:00 PM - 3:50 PM	ASL Level 1 - ASL Level 1 This is a class with which participants will acquire knowledge of basic, practical communication; such as salutations, opinions, introductions and giving descriptions of people and things. As classes progress, students will learn to talk about themselves, their feelings, interests and more. These skills will be reinforced through in-class activities that will make learning fun. Buildwave is a creative building program that feels like a video game! Over the course of 6 sessions students create with over 50 different building materials, including Lego®, PlusPlus®, and custom-made Buildwave materials. Each session of the program is a new “level” of the Buildwave game, with an audiovisual setup featuring animations and music that guide students through the different building waves. As your child creates with wave after wave of new objects, they build creative confidence, become better collaborators, and encounter design and engineering fundamentals in a unique and memorable context. Each week, they'll dive into hands-on activities, such as engineering their own chips, making white chocolate from scratch, and creating marshmallow fluff. From understanding the chemistry of caramelization to experimenting with flavors and textures, this program offers a fun and educational journey into the world of culinary creativity. By the end of the course, students will have crafted a variety of snacks to share with family and friends, gaining valuable knowledge in food science and engineering.
